Schumacher maintains professional affiliations with the National Alliance of Medicare Set Aside Professionals (NAMSAP), American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants (AALNC), International Association of Life Care Planners (IALCP) and International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals (IARP).
She also serves as the CWF department's Subject Matter Expert, Trainer and Project Lead for all various CWF related work types and projects, including Phase 4 of the System Consolidation project for the Benefits Coordination and Recovery System (BCRS).

Performs duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist and Store Manager including utilizing pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, ensuring information is entered correctly, filling prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring pharmaceutical drugs, verifying medicine is correct, and checking for possible interactions.
